Over the coming weeks you’ll see some changes to our branding. This is because Suez Water Purification Systems (SWPS) is rebranding as Purite.
Many of you may remember that’s where we originally came from; SWPS traded as Purite for over 35 years and was a well-known and respected name in the marketplace.
After a long period of review by various competition authorities regarding the acquisition of Suez by Veolia (acquisition date 18th January 2022), clearance (subject to certain remedies) for the combination of the businesses has been granted. Therefore, SWPS, as part of the wider Suez Water Technologies & Solutions (SWTS) global business unit, will become part of the new Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) business unit.
The timing of integration for the combination is linked to certain remedies being carried out. Until this is concluded, the businesses will continue to be operated separately, although there will be some elements of integration work such as IT harmonisation.
Knowing that a lot of our customer base may already work with Veolia in some form, we believe it will be less confusing to customers if we return to the Purite brand so that you know which team you are dealing with. For now, our legal company name will remain unchanged and we will trade as Purite, meaning we will refer to ourselves as Purite on the phone, and paperwork and marketing platforms and materials will bear the Purite rather than Suez logo.
While our ownership and name are now different, our relationship with you will not change. Your Suez Water Purification Systems Ltd contacts remain the same and will continue to provide you with the same level of support and service that you are accustomed to.
